    On Nov. 23 Sotheby's raised money for U2 Bono's (RED). A one-of-a kind Leica Digital Rangefinder Camera by Apple's Senior VP of Design Sir Jony Ive and industrial designer Marc Newson, sold for $1,805,000, estimated up to $750,000. The auction raised $13 million, which was matched by The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The standing room of 1,000 had The Edge, Chelsea Clinton and Meg Ryan.

    Steinway & Sons Unique "Red Pops For (RED)" Parlor Grand Model A Piano sold for $1,925,000 to billionaire Stewart Rahr. Coldplay's Chris Martin sung "Perfect Day" and "Beautiful Day'" with Bono on the piano before it was sold. Components were selected by Jony Ive and Marc Newson, including the silver plate and nickel hardware and the special decal on the soundboard. Estimate $150,000-200,000.
