Apple's late to the party. Competitors have been developing and selling their versions for the past few years, some unveiling their third iteration of the devices. Asus' first foray into the smartwatch category was recently unveiled at the IFA tech show in Berlin. The ZenWatch sports a leather wristband and 1.63-inch touchscreen display that's subtly curved. The ZenWatch runs Google's Android Wear software and needs to be paired with a smartphone running Android 4.3 or higher. Asus hasn't yet announced US availability or pricing for the ZenWatch, but it goes for 199 euros abroad.
