— -- "Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce" premiered with the first part of a two-part special Sunday night on E! and the hour-long program explored how Bruce Jenner broke the news of his transition to his family.

The special, which comes a couple weeks after his exclusive interview with Diane Sawyer, was emotional for all the Jenners and Kardashians, as expected. It was filmed around the same time as the ABC News interview.

"I don't think I've ever been as scared in my life as I was to be honest with my kids," Jenner, 65, says in a clip from the show.

At the start of the program, a message from Bruce is shown that informs the audience that he is doing this E! special with the hope that this lets other families going through the same process know they are not alone.

Here are the top 5 moments from Sunday night's show and how the family is handling the change:

1 -- Khloe is supportive, but wants Bruce to be more up front with his daughters -- Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kylie and Kendall.

The show opens with Khloe bringing Bruce presents, including a few pairs of women's shoes. It's a show of support and Bruce is obviously taken with the sentiment.

Khloe even has the same pair of shoes on that she got Bruce and jokes, "Who wore them better?"

Things get emotional when Kendall stops by and Bruce reveals that he is probably going to transition in the Spring.

"I don't think it's fair you don't tell us how close this is, we are still your kids," Khloe says, adding she wants Bruce to be happy, but wants him to be honest and up front.

"I get it, it's dealing like a death in the family ... it's a tough transition for people in the family," Bruce says, during a one-on-one with the cameras.

Kendall and Khloe both agree they weren't fully aware of Bruce's complete transition.

2 -- Kendall says she used to think Bruce was having an affair, because she found makeup and other feminine products around the house.

"We didn't know what to do … we didn't want our family to be broken up, so we didn't tell anybody," she says.

The 19-year-old model adds that Bruce was the best father and that she finally saw him wearing women's clothes about a year ago at 4 a.m. in the house.

"I ran up the stairs quietly and went to bed," she says, adding that Bruce finally told her four months ago.

"I feel bad ... you had to sneak around at 4 a.m.," she says. "He's the most amazing person I know, I couldn't ask for a better dad."

3 -- At the time of the filming for the special, Bruce's ex-wife Kris Jenner was "not OK."

Kris opens her part of the show with how the two met on a blind date and how "it was love at first sight." She says that five months later, they were married.

The 59-year-old Kardashian matriarch says, "It's hard for me to just really believe it's happening."

"My biggest concern is you guys are OK," she tells Kim. "I'm not OK, I don't know how to handle this ... why now?"

Kris adds that she never expected this, but that she was open to Bruce's differences while they were married.

"I have these memories of this life and I feel sometimes like it didn't exist," she adds.

Bruce does say in a video testimonial that "the love and acceptance I've gotten from Kris is overwhelming."

4 -- Bruce is most worried about Kylie and Kendall.

Khloe took this hard.

"It's still my dad," she said of her stepfather.

Meanwhile, Kendall thinks this can be a good thing in the long run for Bruce.

"I'm more worried about how people are going to treat him," she said. "He is honestly one of the greatest people I know, he wouldn't hurt a fly. To think of someone giving him hate ... that scares me, that's more of a worry to me than anything else."

5 -- The show ends with Bruce and his five daughters and it gets emotional.

Khloe and the other girls just want their father to tell them more, especially before the media finds out.

"I'm not lying, Khloe, I just didn't tell you," Bruce says, as things get a little heated. "Am I doing it right Khloe? ... There's no right way to do this."

Kim is really consistent and calm and tells Bruce that the children just want to be part of the journey with their father.

Bruce then explains the surgeries that he has coming up for his transition.

"It's a lot of work, you do it in stages," he says, citing changes to his forehead and jaw, among other things.

"Maybe this is my greatest calling in my life," Bruce adds, with a positive outlook on how he can help others through their transition.
