— -- Candace Cameron Bure recently spoke to the show "The Doctors" about how she balances life and keeps her husband happy.

Cameron Bure, 38, talked about staying fit by drinking tons of water and staying active to feel better during an interview that took place earlier in the year while she was on "Dancing with the Stars."

"I have found that I'm a much happier person, I'm awake longer, I have more energy when I'm being physical, when I'm exercising," she told Dr. Rachael Ross. "My clothes feel better, I feel prettier, my skin radiates."

The former "Full House" star, who just celebrated 18 years of marriage with her husband, Valeri Bure, in June, also talked about how she keeps her husband satisfied in the bedroom. The couple are parents to three children -- daughter Natasha, and sons Lev and Maksim.

"We have to schedule time together. But the other part is making sure that we stay connected sexually," she said. "That's a very fulfilling part of a marriage. When you're happy sexually, it kinda just balances the rest of the stuff out. You're not so mad at each other, you're not nitpicking at the little things."

Ross added that studies show the husband is more likely to "buy better gifts, they help around the house" when they are happy sexually.

"Totally," Cameron Bure said.
