Why Carrie Underwood Says Her Husband Is the Sexiest Man Alive
Singer says her husband, Mike Fisher, is better looking than Chris Hemsworth.
Dec. 11, 2014— -- People magazine got it wrong, according to Carrie Underwood.
The "American Idol" winner says her husband, Mike Fisher, is "way hotter" than People's current Sexiest Man Alive, Chris Hemsworth.
It all started when Underwood was asked on "The Talk" Wednesday the weirdest place she'd ever been recognized.
The 31-year-old pregnant star responded, "I'd say when we were in Austria. I went there before our 'Sound of Music' stuff last year. It's like people could recognize us but they didn't know why."
Underwood then revealed that her pro hockey player husband kept being mistaken for one person in particular.
"They were just like, 'Oh, these people look familiar,'" she continued, "so we had people coming up to our tour guide and asking if my husband was Thor."
Thor is, of course, played by Australian actor Hemsworth on the big screen.
And while there are some definite similarities between the two, Underwood coyly noted, "I mean, I think, like, my husband is way hotter."
Underwood and Fisher, who wed in 2010, are expecting their first child, a boy, early next year.
