quicklist:title: David Bowietext: He may be one of the world's biggest rock stars, but when it came to producing a video for his latest single, "Love Is Lost," David Bowie kept it low key. Using his own home video camera and a couple of rescued puppets from his treasure trove, Bowie wrote, shot and edited the entire video last weekend in his Manhattan office. The whole thing cost just $12.99, the price for the thumb drive to transfer the finished video. And the result -- posted online Wednesday -- is a hauntingly gothic tale just in time for Halloween. media: 20746011
