— -- Count George Clooney among those excited by the news that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie said, "I do."

"How great is that?! I'm really happy for Brad and Angie and their whole family," the actor told ABC News.

Clooney, 50, has been close with the newlyweds for some time after co-starring with Pitt in the 2001 film, "Ocean's 11." Since the start of their friendship, they've been known not just to praise each other's work, but also to goof around in their spare time.

"We were shooting 'Oceans 12' in my hometown in Lake Como, and he had a flier sent around saying George only wants to be called by his character’s name, Danny Ocean, don't look him in the eyes, and it got into the local paper," Clooney said in a Reddit Ask Me Anything interview. "As you know, jokes don’t translate at all, and they called me il divo, and said that I was treating the crew like s***. When it got into the paper I came downstairs and Brad had the paper in his hand, and I said 'You’re mine from here on out.' Brad just said, 'Please don't harm my children.'"

While Pitt may be the one in the spotlight now, Clooney's turn is fast approaching: He's reportedly going to marry his fiancee, Amal Alamuddin, next month in Europe.
