— -- Harvey Weinstein's representative has spoken out on behalf of the media mogul following accusations that surfaced on Monday.

Weinstein, 63, is "being investigated" after a 22-year-old model filed a complaint with police on Friday evening, the NYPD confirmed to ABC News on Monday.

"We are cooperating fully with the authorities and are confident that we will be fully vindicated," Weinstein's rep told ABC News today.

The unidentified Italian woman claims Weinstein groped her in his office at the Tribeca Film Center in Manhattan around 6 p.m. Friday. No charges have been filed at this point, police said.

Weinstein allegedly grabbed the woman's breasts, a police source told ABC News.

After police look into the matter, it will be up to the Manhattan District Attorney’s office to decide whether to proceed with charges against the famed movie executive.
