Heidi Klum and Bodyguard Boyfriend Split

Jan. 28, 2014 — -- Fellas, Heidi Klum is back on the market, ABC News confirms.

Following a romance of about a year and half with her bodyguard Martin Kirsten, People magazine reports the couple has called it quits personally and professionally.

The 40-year-old former supermodel and current "America's Got Talent" judge divorced R&B singer Seal in 2012, and the two began dating shortly after.

She confirmed she was dating Kirsten, 41, to Katie Couric in September 2012. She said at the time that she trusted Kirsten with her children's lives.

Though they will remain friends, Klum and Kirsten are also "no longer working together," a source also tells People.
