— -- Former "James Bond" icon Roger Moore took to social media today to share some heartbreaking news.

"Our beautiful daughter Christina (aka Flossie) lost her battle with cancer 25 July at 10am. We are heartbroken," he wrote, along with a photo of his beautiful girl.

She was 47.

Moore became Christina Knudsen's stepfather when he married Kiki Tholstrup, his fourth wife, in 2002.

Moore, 88, said that he and other family members "were all with her, surrounding her with love, at the end."

Moore is an acclaimed actor known for replacing Sean Connery in the legendary James Bond film franchise. Some of his classic Bond movies include "Moonraker" and "The Spy Who Loved Me."

According to People magazine, Knudsen went to USC and worked professionally in property development and interior design. She also was instrumental in launching a dating agency called Ochun.
