— -- Joy Behar couldn’t stay away from “The View,” announcing Tuesday that she'll return to the morning talk show next month, and it’s because she doesn’t want to miss out on all the fun.

“I spent two years where I didn’t ever have to think about Kim Kardashian or the Duggars and it was really kind of nice,” Behar said today on “Good Morning America,” referring to her split from the show in 2013 after 16 seasons. “But I remembered…all the wonderful things, fun I had over there.”

“I thought let me go back and try and have some more fun,” she said. “That’s why I’m back.”

Behar, 72, will be joined for the show’s 19th season by fellow newly-announced co-hosts Paula Faris and Candace Cameron Bure, along with the current panel of Whoopi Goldberg, Raven-Symone and Michelle Collins.

A familiar face to “View” viewers, Behar was the longest-running of the original co-hosts of the talk show created by Barbara Walters. She left in 2013 to pursue other professional opportunities, which included starring in her own one-woman show.

“I want to stick my two-cents in. That’s my main goal in life,” Behar joked of her return. “I had so much fun on the show. I can’t believe it.”

Behar phoned into “GMA” from her “country” home outside of New York City, revealing that she, “is not ready for urban life yet.”

The grandmother-of-one will have to be ready when the new season of "The View" premieres Sept. 8. The show will be live five days a week and will feature appearances by regular contributors including former co-host Sherri Shepherd, Padma Lakshmi, Stacy London, Ana Navarro and Molly Sims.

For Behar, the first topics to tackle will not be a hard choice.

“Look, what’s going on with Donald Trump right now, you know, and you just talked about the Duggars and how it’s not a very good idea, it’s not godly for a woman to be angry,” Behar said, referring to a story that aired on “GMA” Wednesday. “I think I’m going to show that it is godly for a woman to be angry.”

“I’m really happy to be back,” she added.
