— -- When Kanye West's wife Kim Kardashian West posted a poll on Twitter earlier this week asking fans what album title they liked best, many eyebrows were raised.

Still, West explained why the couple took to the social network to help name his forthcoming project.

"I wanted to get people's opinions on how they felt," he told radio personality Big Boy Thursday. "What I've really come to realize about being a celebrity or a musician or someone who's on the other side of the Internet or on the other side of the TV is everybody is our family. It's family."

"What's really cool is people can tweet or comment or chime in...it's like we can have this continuous conversation," West added.

After his Twitter research, West revealed he's still undecided about the name. "We don't have a name yet," he admitted.

In the past, West has flirted with "So Help Me God," "Swish" and even "Waves."

West may not have an album name, but he definitely knows what fans can expect: "Ultra light beams," he revealed.

He added, laughing, "This is a gospel album with a whole lot of cursing on it, but it's still a gospel album. It's the gospel, according to 'Ye. It's not exactly what happened in the Bible, but it's a story of this idea of Mary Magdalene becoming Mary."

West, 38, announced last month that the album will be released Feb. 11. The album marks the Chicago rapper's first full-length project since his 2013 album, "Yeezus."
