The Kardashian Family Vs the Paps

The Kardashians are no strangers to cameras, but when it comes to the paparazzi, even these stars of reality television have been known to lash out.

Lamar Odom, who is married to Khloe Kardashian, is the latest family member to snap at the shutterbugs.

The 33-year-old NBA star was caught on camera rather calmly chucking a photographer's camera equipment from his car into the middle of a Hollywood street. He then turned to another paparazzo's car and began hitting it with a metal camera stand. Finally he picked up some of their equipment and proceeded to walk off with it.

But before leaving altogether, he took a moment to pose for a fan's camera.

A source close to the Kardashian family told ABCNews.com that this is not the family's first encounter with one of the photographers. "This particular pap guy continuously taunts them," the source said. "He did the same thing to Rob the day before. Enough is enough!"

Odom's wife also defended her man on Twitter.

"Wow can't believe a paparazzi snuck into our gated area and violated our private property!!!! She wrote. "This becomes stalking at some point!!!!! Its wild!!!!"

Using an expletive to describe the photogs, Khloe gave a "shout out to my hubby for posing with the fans! I love my Lam!"

Since becoming pregnant with her first child, Kim Kardashian, who rarely misses a photo op, has become less patient with the paparazzi. In June, she vented on Twitter, "I wouldn't let the paps get a pic of me today & they threatened my life & said if I continue to block shots then they will make my world dangerous to live in! How dare they threaten my life & my unborn child! This has gotten way out of control!"

Kim claimed four cars driven by photographers boxed in her car so that the lensmen could take snaps of her.

"For years I've always been so gracious. Every shot they take now just isn't flattering & crazy stories get made up, so why would I willingly just let them stalk me & smile for them?" Kim tweeted. "Let me enjoy this last month of pregnancy please without threats & being scared to leave my home due to what dangerous thing they just threatened to do to me. What will it take for there to be laws to prevent this behavior?"

Finally, she wrote, "I get I live a public life. I live my life on a reality show for the world to see. I love my life, but when the cameras stop, that doesn't mean I don't want a break too. I'm 32 yrs old now, about to be a mom. I'm not 25 clubbing around LA anymore. There's no excuse for threats & stalking!"

On a recent episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," a pregnant Kim turned the tables on a photographer by pointing her reality show cameras on him outside a yogurt shop.

Kim's boyfriend and baby daddy Kanye West has had his own run-ins with the paparazzi, so it's not suprising that he would clash with the paps again after they became a couple. In early May, West went off on some snappers after he banged his head into a metal sign while trying to duck from a pack of paparazzi who were following him and his then pregnant girlfriend. His expletive-laden tirade against one lensmen who claims he wasn't among the pack was caught on tape and went viral.

Kendall Jenner, Kim and Khloe's younger half sister, has pretty much grown up on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and has recently launched her modeling career, but that doesn't mean the 17-year-old likes being photographed without her permission.

"there's nothing that irritates me more than when people take pics of me/my family/ or anyone in this industry and do not ask," Jenner tweeted in January.

"don't sit there taking pics of me as if I'm a statue, or an artifact in a museum. I can see you and it makes me uncomfortable," she continued. "I'm a human being and it's very rude not to ask. you wouldn't appreciate it either."

In March, a female photographer told Beverly Hills Police that she was "struck in the face" by Rob Kardashian while taking pictures of him and that he "grabbed her camera and removed the memory card," fleeing the location.

Rob was charged with battery and petty theft, but at a court hearing in May, his laywers said an agreement had been reached with the photographer and the judge dropped the charges, according to E! online.
