— -- It's been 20 years since Melissa Joan Hart was casting spells as Sabrina Spellman in "Sabrina the Teenage Witch."

Hart reflected on the anniversary of the sitcom last night, which first aired on Sept. 27, 1996.

"20 years ago tonight #sabrinatheTeenageWitch aired on @abcnetwork for the first time and changed my life forever!" she wrote on her Instagram page. "What was your favorite episode? Happy anniversary to my crew, cast and fans and especially to my amazing executive producer who created the show and also happens to be my mommy!!"

In a recent interview with Nutrisystem, Hart described how it feels knowing she played Sabrina 20 years later.

"I honestly can’t believe it’s been 20 years," she said "I feel old! Sabrina was such a fun character. She was always full of surprises. It looks like I still have the magic touch after all these years.”

Actresses Caroline Rhea and Beth Broderick, who played Sabrina's aunts, sounded off on Twitter to commemorate two decades since the sitcom's debut.

Nick Bakay, who voiced Salem, Sabrina's talking cat, also gave a nod.

As for a possible reboot, Hart said its a hot topic among fans.

"There’s a lot of talk about a Sabrina reboot," she said. "I feel like almost every day, somebody’s calling me about it. Would we do it? Should we do it? How do we do it? I think the thing about reboots is they’re really hard to do. They’re hard to do right. I think sometimes it’s better to just leave it in the past unless you do it really, really great.”
