Miley Cyrus Fills In for Ellen DeGeneres on Her Talk Show

— -- Ellen DeGeneres took a rare sick day from her daily talk show Wednesday, and frequent guest Miley Cyrus came in to save the day as fill-in host.
DeGeneres broke the news on Twitter, writing, “The bad news is I’m sick & can’t tape my show today. The good news is @MileyCyrus dropped everything to host for me. Thanks, Miley!”
In a preview clip for the episode, airing today, Miley dances onto the stage like Ellen and jokes to the studio audience, “I know all of you came to see Ellen so I’m gonna do my best to make you very happy. I’m dressed like her, I smell like her, just before I came out here I actually kissed a girl so thank you."
"I’ll admit I’m a little bit nervous because I’ve never hosted a show with my clothes on before, so this is so weird," she adds later.
The last time the comedienne took a sick day from "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" was back in 2014, when Ellie Kemper of "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" stepped in.
