Pregnant Kerry Washington Debuts Her Baby Bump
The 'Scandal' star finally confirmed her pregnancy in an Alexander Wang gown.
Jan. 12, 2014 -- Rumors have swirled for months that "Scandal" star Kerry Washington is expecting her first child, and at the Golden Globes she confirmed that she is indeed pregnant.
"I am," the best actress nominee said before the show, as she showed off her growing belly in an Alexander Wang gown. "I feel like he designed it more for this bump. I just feel very blessed, truly extraordinary."

"I have the best date of the night -- my little accessory," the 36-year-old said in a separate interview with Ryan Seacrest.
This will be the first child for Washington and her husband, NFL star Nnamdi Asomugha. The notoriously private star rarely discusses her private life.
"I've had earlier times in my career when I did talk about [my personal life]," she told Glamour last year. "I was on the cover of a bridal magazine. But I couldn't just turn around and say, 'I only want to talk about the good stuff, but not the bad stuff.' So I just thought, 'OK, no more.'"
