— -- Earlier this month, we got a look at the first trailer for "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." Now, one of the film's stars may have spilled a little too much during an interview.

Spoilers ahead!

While speaking to Sky News, Mads Mikkelsen was asked about his involvement with the film starring Oscar-nominee Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso, one of the rebels who has to steal the plans for the Death Star prior to the original "A New Hope."

Despite the first clip being released, most of the characters are still enigmas, as with most "Star Wars" films.

Well, thanks to Mads, now we know A LOT about his character -- like he's Jyn's dad!

"I can say absolutely nothing about it," he said, then adding. "I can but then I'd have to kill you and all the audience."

He then confirmed the movie is set before the original, putting it chronologically between "Revenge of the Sith" and "A New Hope," though it's a standalone.

"I read the script, it was very beautiful," he added. "Felicity [Jones] plays this lovely, strong woman and I play her [pauses] father. That was too much, I'm sorry."

Everyone on set of Sky News gasped when he said it, according to the interviewer. He also wouldn't answer if Darth Vader was also in this film.

But he added some details about "Doctor Strange," a Marvel movie set to hit theaters later this year, along with "Rogue One."

"I believe I'm allowed to say I play an opponent, a baddie," he said of his character.

Either way, Mikkelsen is a beloved, acclaimed actor and both these movies look intense and fit for his talents. Trailers below!
