Ronnie and Sally Wood Hope to Have a Baby
The Rolling Stones guitarist and his wife bridge 31-year age difference.
— -- At 67, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood is "up for" expanding his family.
His wife of a year and a half, Sally, 36, said that she would like to have a baby in the next five years.
"Obviously we’ve spoken about it quite a lot, and you can ask him and his response would be, 'Well, that would be nice.’ He’s up for it," she told the U.K.'s Telegraph newspaper. "He’s got a lot of friends that are older who have younger children and they all say it’s fantastic and it keeps you young. I do think that would be wonderful, but I don’t know if it will happen. I hope so."

Sally is the rocker's third wife. He has two adult children, Tyrone and Leah, with his second wife Jo, and an adult son, Jesse, with his late first wife, Krissy Findlay.
"I know [the age gap is] there. And I wish it wasn’t, but it is," she remarked on the oft-discussed topic. "I think I had to say, 'I can’t do this because of the age,’ or I just had to let it go and take it all on board. At no point, years ago, did I say to myself, 'I think I’ll go out with someone twice my age.’ But that is what has happened."
As a result, Sally, who said that there are no plans to conceive but "no non-plans, if you see what I mean," has found herself as a step-grandmother to Wood's eight grandchildren. They call her "Auntie Sally," and they're often at her home, in the playroom she created for them.
"It’s great. Everyone was round to watch the World Cup. We have a christening this weekend, there was one last weekend, and a wedding the week before that [for Wood's son Jesse]," she said. "Life is all about family. I don’t think there is much point to anything if you don’t have that. I think loneliness is terrible. It’s really lovely to be quite settled."
