— -- Sia fans planning to attend her first-ever arena tour of North America should get ready for what the “Chandelier” singer described today as a “pretty weird ride.”

“It’s more, I guess, a theatrical experience,” Sia, 40, said today on “Good Morning America.” “The performance is, it’s unusual I think would say.”

Sia, who performs with a signature blond wig to conceal her face, will perform this weekend at New York's Panorama festival. She will kick off the U.S. portion of her “Nostalgic for the Present Tour” in September.

“It’s a pretty weird ride,” she said of the tour, which also features R&B singer/songwriter Miguel and EDM artist AlunaGeorge. “It’s an unusual experience but even kids like it.”

Though the "Unstoppable" singer will sing in front of thousands on tour, she called performing "scary."

“Oh, I do not love performing. I get really scared,” she said, adding that she had cried in the dressing room before taking the stage in Central Park on “GMA.” “I’m really croaky and I was like, 'I’m not going to hit the high note and I want everyone to like me.'"

"I do it because I want to make you happy," she said today to her fans.

Sia’s latest album, “This Is Acting," was released in January and debuted at No. 4 on Billboard's 200.
