She's been a crossfit fanatic for eight years. When I met with my midwife, she was very comfortable with the fact that as long as I listened to my body I could continue training. So I did. It's good for your mood, sleep, flexibility. It will help you through labor and delivery. It's a good thing to do. You have to be careful. If you're already doing something, you keep doing it? As long as it's something safe. Anything involving plans. Horseback riding, skateboarding, skiing, I would avoid. The weight will shift your balance. The joints get loose because of pregnancy. You have to be careful. What would you suggest for pregnant women of all anls, shapes, sizes, weights? So you know, if you like it rkts you're likely to stick with it. If you like to walk, continue to walk. Swimming is a wonderful exercise. That's the best. A stable exercise bike. After the first trimester, nothing flat on your back. The weight of the belly can cut down on the blood flow to the uterus. And my favorite is pregnancy yoga. It focuses on the breathing, flexibility, strength. I still use my pregnancy yoga tape.
