— -- Surveillance video posted to social media appears to show the moment an explosion went off in Istanbul's Ataturk Airport -- part of an attack that officials said left at least 36 people dead and wounded 147.

After the explosion, parts of the airport's ceiling fall, and the people nearest the explosion are no longer seen amid the dust and debris, the footage appears to show. The people farthest away from the explosion then can be seen sprinting away.

Several of the people nearest the explosion were already running before the explosion, the video, which appears to be airport security footage, shows. It was not clear how the footage was posted to the internet.

All signs pointed to ISIS being responsible for the attack, said Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim. Three attackers carrying weapons arrived to the airport by taxi, Yildirim said.

The attack took place around 10 p.m. local time, a busy time for the airport due to flights arriving from Europe and leaving for the Persian Gulf and other parts of the region

The airport has since reopened, and all flights between the U.S. to Istanbul have been resumed, a senior U.S. official told ABC News.
