— -- History repeated itself at one Florida hospital when the first baby girl ever to be born there returned to have her own baby girl 29 years later.

Tami Replogle was born on April 2, 1987, at Broward Health Coral Springs, just one month after the hospital opened its doors.

At 6:31 a.m. on Monday, Tami and her husband Joshua welcomed their daughter at the same facility -- making headlines for a second time.

"It's a story my parents always told me," Tami told ABC News today. "The way they always explained it to me was, 'You were the first girl born in Coral Springs.'"

"It's just neat looking back," Joshua added. "She was the first girl."

The couple did research other hospitals before choosing Broward Health Coral Springs -- but the decision was easy for them.

"It wasn't really much effort for us to pick the hospital she was born at because of the significance," Joshua said. "I think it means something."

“Over the past 29 years, we’ve welcomed more than 60,000 babies and it’s a great joy to welcome back Tamara — our first baby girl — to Broward Health Coral Springs,” Drew Grossman, CEO of Broward Health Coral Springs said in a statement. “Today is filled with memories, history and a sense of community — everything you want when a new baby arrives."

Tami said her mother, Sharon Argov, was there for the delivery of her baby and was thrilled her daughter returned to the same hospital.

"She thinks it's amazing," Tami said.

The first-time parents have not yet decided on a name for their little girl, but said they are very close. Baby Replogle was born 6 pounds, 8 ounces and 19 inches long.
