— -- Chicago Cubs left-hander  Jon Lester may have trouble with routine throws to first base, but he's the master of unconventional tosses to get the out.

On Wednesday, Lester pulled off his second recent "throw the glove and ball to first base" to get the out in the Cubs' game against the Pirates after the ball got stuck in his glove.

Last season, Lester pulled off a very similar play in a game against the Padres. And last month, Lester got an out with an ugly two-hop spike throw to first.
