— -- San Diego Padres outfielder Melvin Upton Jr. apparently enjoyed his new role as leadoff hitter Tuesday night, blasting Baltimore Orioles starter Ubaldo Jimenez's fourth pitch 462 feet to center field.

For most, this would be a good night's work. But hitting his longest home run since ESPN started tracking distances (2009) wasn't enough -- Upton also took one away in equally impressive fashion in the bottom of the second.

Good luck finding another instance of a player hitting a massive home run and then scaling the wall to take one back an inning later.
