The Denver Broncos quarterback set an NFL record Sunday by throwing his 509th career touchdown pass, breaking the record set by Brett Favre.

The milestone was celebrated on social media, with #Peyton509 becoming a trending topic on Twitter. Manning’s record serves as a chance to look back at his 16 seasons playing with the Indianapolis Colts and, later, the Broncos.

Following the touchdown, Manning's Broncos teammates celebrated.

The occasion was a chance to poke some fun at Manning.

The ball used in the touchdown is headed to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
