May 6, 2013— -- intro: If you scroll down the list of amenities offered at most large resorts, you'll often see "Kids' Club" or "Children's Play Area" or "Children's Activity Room." As we all know, however, just because a hotel offers an amenity doesn't mean it's good.

And the last thing you want to do is have your kids get bored during your family vacation. Here are five hotels highly recommended by TripAdvisor travelers for their excellent kids' activities.
