This Is How Close a Drill Came to Going Through a Subway Car

— -- Some New York subway riders got a serious scare when a drill hit the top of the train, authorities said.

The strike activated the emergency brakes on the F train subway car as it passed through Queens. Passengers took photos of the drill when they were disembarking, showing how close it could have been to causing serious harm.

The incident is being investigated.
