A group of disabled veterans challenged themselves to climb the 13,770 foot-mountain at Grand Teton National Park this month. The trip was organized by adaptive-focus Paradox Sports, an organization that provides a series of backpacking, mountaineering, river rafting, and rock climbing trips with the intention to empower disabled veterans to help them reintegrate into civilian life. The bond these veterans experienced during the climb is a very special one. Summiting the 13,770 foot-mountain was not the main goal but healing and finding themselves.
