While some pundits are questioning whether an openly gay athlete would impact the world of football the support from Michael Sam is pouring in. -- -- NFL history when he announced that he was gay just months before the draft. The NFL hopefuls one of the best defensive players and could be chosen early in this year's draft which could make him the first openly gay player in the major American sports.
