Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross Welcome a Baby Girl

This is the couple's first child.

— -- It's a girl for Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross!

The couple welcomed Jagger Snow Ross on July 30.

Evan Ross announced the news on his Facebook page:

The couple married last August following a nine-month engagement. In February, Simpson, 30, announced that they were expecting a baby girl.

"I like to know -- I want to do the nursery," she told People. "I’m just excited for the new addition!"

This is the first child for Ross, 26, an actor and the son of Diana Ross. Simpson has a 6-year-old son, Bronx, with her ex-husband, Pete Wentz.
