— -- Rihanna has announced that "Anti" will be the name of her upcoming album.

The "FourFiveSeconds" singer revealed the title and cover artwork for her upcoming album on Wednesday night at Los Angeles' Mama Gallery.

According to Billboard, Rihanna appeared at the unveiling to speak about the cover, telling the audience "this is my favorite album cover I've ever done."

The pop star also posted a series of photos of the artwork, created by artist Roy Nachum, on her Instagram page.

The "Anti" cover art depicts the image of a young Rihanna holding a black balloon in her left hand while a gold crown covers her eyes.

The white and red canvas is layered beneath the braille lettering of a poem titled "If They Let Us" written by Chloe Mitchell.

After its unveiling Rihanna commented, "Sometimes the ones who have sight are the blindest."

The 27-year-old singer revealed more details about the meaning of her eighth studio album album on Instagram.

"In her collaboration with Roy Nachum, Rihanna has changed the history of art," reads a post on Rihanna's Instagram account.

"By continuing to follow her own instincts, her work strives to make an impact by doing the very antithesis of what the public expects."

A released date for "Anti" has not been announced yet.
