— -- It's nice to know that best pals Mario and Luigi are still going on adventures -- even if they're a little bizarre.

Using two Mario and Luigi action figures, Charles Martinet, the actor who provided the voices of the mustachioed characters in the iconic Nintendo video games, has been documenting their trip to Chile in a series of short video clips posted on Instagram.

Martinet has uploaded 52 videos since beginning his Instagram adventure under the handle charlesmartinetitsame on Aug. 14.

Here's what happened when the friends met a hat wearing llama:

They also cracked a joke at the expense of a "grumpy" crab.

And took in some entertainment on the street.

"Luigi, it's a juggler!" Mario says.

"Mamma mia!"
